Electro (Marvel Comics)

Electro (Maxwell "Max" Dillon) is a fictional supervillain that appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. An enemy of Spider-Man, he gained the ability to control electricity after being struck by lightning while working on a power line. The character has been depicted in numerous ''Spider-Man'' cartoons and video games. In 2009, he was ranked as IGN's 87th Greatest Comic Book Villain of All Time.〔(Electro is 87 )〕
The character made his cinematic debut in 2014's ''The Amazing Spider-Man 2'', portrayed by actor Jamie Foxx.
==Publication history==

Electro was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, and first appeared in ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' #9 (Feb. 1964).
